“It’s good to be home” says new Tynefield Park professional
PENRITH Cricket Club have signed all-rounder Asher Hart as their professional for the next two seasons.
Hart came through the Penrith junior ranks before joining Durham Academy, and playing for Durham II. He has spent the last two years at Hampshire and is presently playing first grade cricket in Australia.
He offers both right-handed batting and fast/medium bowling. At 21 he is an athletic fielder, and, in contrast to the last couple of seasons, offers the genuine prospect of the club’s professional playing a full season.
