Addison back home to reflect on whirlwind month with Ireland
WILL Addison was back at home in Eden this week reflecting on a whirlwind month which saw him awarded three Ireland caps — just months after making the switch from Sale Sharks to Ulster in a bid to improve his chances of playing international rugby.
The former England under-20 player has an Irish-born mother, so was eligible to make the move — and it seems to be paying off.
“It has all gone very well,” he said. “I have mainly been concentrating on getting into the Ulster team and everything else happened a bit sooner than expected. I am really grateful — what a great few weeks.”
