ALSTON’S St. Augustine’s Church held a successful coffee morning.
The masonic hall was filled to capacity for the monthly event where visitors enjoyed a variety of stalls.
On the door and selling raffle tickets was Gill Rogers; selling cakes and scones was Jane Lonrie; on the bric-a-brac stall was Audrey Davison; serving tea, coffee, scones and biscuits were Liz Walton and Pauline Jackson; and on lucky dip was Chris Gunnion.
A total of £193 was raised for church funds. David Pepin thanked every-one for their continued support.
