Calf stolen from field

A TWO-week-old calf was stolen from a field at Stainmore on Saturday or Sunday. Police say it was a Belted Galloway calf.

A vehicle was tampered with at a farm in Ivegill between 9pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday, although nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Police say a Ford Focus and a Vauxhall Signum were scratched at Carleton Road, Penrith, between 8am and 5-15pm last Wednesday. At Garths Head Road, Appleby, a Hyundai i20 car was scratched between midnight on Monday and 8am on Tuesday. Anyone with information should contact Cumbria police on the 101 number.
